About Madeline Abbott

I am a third year PhD student in the Department of Biostatistics. My dissertation is advised by Jeremy Taylor and Walter Dempsey and focuses on the development of joint longitudinal-survival models motivated by mobile health data. I also work as a GSRA for Billie Nahum-Shani and Dr. Dempsey on the analysis of mobile health data from smoking cessation studies. I completed the MS program in Biostatistics at UM in 2020 and did my undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN.
