Ecological momentary assessments afford myriad possibilities for how time can be conceptualized and modeled to understand individuals’ psychological experiences and behaviors in daily life. This talk will provide considerations for modeling and visualizing time-to-event data using multilevel recurring event survival analysis. Discussion opportunities include connections between measurement strategies and analytic modeling, approaches for dealing with missing data, and implications of different approaches for separating within- and between-person predictors.
