About Cait Hayward
Cait Hayward is the Managing Director of the Data Science for Dynamic Intervention Decision-Making Center (d3c) at the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research. She works closely with d3c leadership to cultivate a bottom-up, interactive, team-oriented workplace that values how people work together in the service of developing and disseminating novel data science tools. In her role, she is responsible for team management, regulatory compliance, budget oversight, and strategic planning. Prior to her role at d3c, Cait was the Director of Research & Analytics at the U-M Center for Academic Innovation. She completed her PhD in Information Science, with a focus on learning analytics, the theoretical foundations of gameful pedagogy, and novel educational technologies.
