About Lex Hurley
Lex Hurley is a research assistant collaborating with the Data Science for Dynamic Intervention Decision-Making Center (d3center) at the University of Michigan. He specializes in the development and evaluation of digital behavior change interventions (DBCIs) and seeks to understand the most effective ways to interact with, and engage different types of participants so they may benefit from these programs using interdisciplinary approaches spanning the research domains of health behavior, communications, psychology, quantitative methodology, and other fields. Currently, he is collaborating on the development and theory of dyadic just-in-time-adaptive interventions (JITAIs) to engage multiple individuals in a shared treatment goal together, and help advance DBCI interventions beyond only focusing at the individual level.
