About Mengbing Li
Mengbing is a 5th year PhD student at the Biostatistics Department in the University of Michigan. Her research interests lie in designing and applying statistical methods to problems related to individualized health, particularly with Bayesian nonparametric models and latent variable models. Her current focus includes topic models, latent class models, and reinforcement learning. Mengbing has worked on methods to evaluate treatment rules in mobile health studies, to facilitate patient health monitoring using medical claims data, and to derive dietary patterns using food survey data.
